THE WHIRLYGIG GAG - This is a great way to frighten your friends.
WHAT YOU NEED: A couple of business or old playing cards, a strong thin elastic band and a small jewellery or gift box .
Fold each card up repeatedly lengthways, until you have a flat tube of card, and then bend both tubes to crease them in the middle. Wrap an elastic band loosely around both at the creases in the centre. Hold one tube firmly and wind the other one around until it's tight. Now carefully place your whirlygig into a small shallow box with a lid, so it stays put and remains set to go when the lid is removed.
When you have chosen your victim, tell them you have a special surprise for them. Give them the box and watch their excitement turn to fear as the Whirligig jumps out at them as they lift off the lid of the box!
